What is a partner profile?

A partner's profile is something that tells what type of partner you are looking for. This will help other members to contact if they satisfy your requirement. Also, we provide number of tools for you to find out which members may be interested in your profile and who you might be interested etc. and these tools will only work if you setup your partner's profile.

What is the importance of creating my Partner's Profile?

By defining a partner profile will clearly tell other members who maybe browsing your profile the type of partner you are looking for. Without defining your partner profile, they will never know and may be contact you, even if you are not interested in members with certain profiles.
This may cause lot of members who may not be suitable for you contacting you. Also, we are providing certain tools that will help you in making contact with the right member's profile that you may be interested in will work only after you define a partner profile. Our large database will show you the profiles of only those members satisfying your partner's profile criteria.

Can I change my partner profile after I create it?

Yes, you can change your partner profile any number of times. Simply click on "Edit Profile" link on left Navigation Menu under "My Profile" section to update/change your partner's profile settings. To update partner's profile, click partner's profile tab. There you can see the current settings, click edit to change, after updating your settings click save.

How can I view matrimonial profiles of members whose personal profiles match with my partner profile (list of members who are looking for me)?

Login to indiavivah.com account. After login on each page you can see the left Navigation Menu. Click the link "Matches I'm looking for"under the section "My matches". This will show all the members whose personal profile match with the partner's profile created by you.

How can I view matrimonial profiles of other members whose partner profiles match with my personal profile? (list of members who I am looking for?)

Login to indiavivah.com account. After login on each page you can see the left Navigation Menu. Click the link "Matches looking for me" under the section "My Matches". This will show all the members whose partner profile requirements matches with your personal profile.

Can I get a list of members who have visited my profile?

Yes, you can view Profile Statistics on "My Vivah" account page after login to indiavivah.com

Why am I not getting many messages and/or matches?

There can be many reasons why you are not receiving many responses. It is possible that your personal matrimonial profile does not match the member's matrimonial requirements specified in his/her partner's profile. Firstly check what the member's partner's profile requirements before expressing interest in the member. Also, don't forget to fill in more information about yourself in your profile before you express interest. Fill your partner's profile requirements in detail so that members can contact you if your profile is matching to their partner's profile requirements.

I am not receiving matches of my choice/preference in my Match Watch Mailers. Can I change the results to my liking?

We are showing you the profiles based on your partner's profile preference. Please change your partner's profile settings to get results based on your choice. To change your partner's profile a click on "Edit Profile" link on left Navigation Menu under "My Profile" section to update/change your partner's profile. To update partner's profile, click partner's profile tab. There you can see the current settings, click edit to change, after updating your settings click save.

I'm receiving mails through Partner Preference from your system. But it does not match my requirements. What can I do?

Please check your Partner's profile requirements and do the necessary changes if required. To change your partner's profile click on "Edit Profile" link on left Navigation Menu under "My Profile" section to update/change your partner profile. To update partner's profile, click partner's profile tab. There you can see the current settings, click edit to change, after updating your settings click save.

Can I short-list profiles that I like on indiavivah.com matrimonials and view them later?

Yes you can. The "Add to Favorites" feature of indiavivah.com will help you to do this. To shortlist the profiles you liked you need to be logged in. At bottom of every profile you can get the option "Add to Favorites". If you want multiple profiles to be your favorite just select the profiles and click the button "Add to Favorites".

What is the Favorites feature? What does it do?

The "Favorites" feature allows you to save matrimonial profiles that you like, so that you can view them later. To use this feature you need to be logged in. At bottom of every profile you can get the option "Add to Favorites". If you want multiple profiles to be your favorite just select the profiles and click the button "Add to Favorites".
