How can I edit my matrimonial profile?

Editing your profile is real easy!
As soon as you login, you will see a Navigation Menu on left, under that there is a section called "My Profile". All you have to do is click on "Edit Profile" option and just update the fields that you are interested in changing and click the "Save" button. Your indiavivah.com profile will be updated and become available to everyone at indiavivah.com.

Can I change any/all of the profile information while modifying my matrimonial profile?

You can change most of the information on your profile. However, you cannot change your VivahId, Date of Birth and Gender.

Can I change my email address after registering with indiavivah.com and creating my profile?

Yes, you can, like any other information on edit profile page.

If I change my profile, how long does it take for others to see the changes?

Any changes to your profile (any information that you typed in) have to be approved by our customer support team. This usually takes less than 24 hours. During this time, anyone viewing your profile will see the message 'This information is currently being reviewed by indiavivah.com. Please recheck this profile after 24 hours'.

The approval is required only for certain fields and not every field on your profile. Specifically, these fields on your profile require approval(if changed):

• Education Details
• Occupation Details
• City Of Birth
• More about yourself section
• More about my family (father's occupation, mothers's occupation, brothers, sisters )

Also note that you will not be able to change some fields directly on your profile. These fields include:

• Gender
• Date of Birth

To change the above fields, you will have to contact our customer support and explain them why you need to change this information and if a valid reason is provided, our customer support will change it for you. You can edit your profile anytime and any number of times.

How can I include hobbies and interests in my profile?

You can include them by following below steps:

• Login on indiavivah.com (How do I login?).
• Use the "My Profile" section under Navigation Menu and click "Edit profile".
• Click "More Information" tab on that page.
• Click on the Edit option and against Hobbies add your hobbies and interests.

I am now happily married to another member of indiavivah.com. Can I share the wonderful news with other members? How do I go about doing this?

There are several things you can do to improve your chances of getting contacted.

• Add an attractive recent photo of yourself to your profile. This is the single most effective step you can take to generate high viewership and also be featured in "Photos only" search results. Read more on why your photograph is important.
• Take time to fill your Personal Profile as accurately and completely as possible. Spend time writing more about your qualitative aspects - aspirations and goals, attitude towards life, your family and your hobbies. Remember, people want to know more about you before they decide to express interest in you.
• Add your Partner Profile. If you do not have a Partner Profile, people viewing your profile will not know what kind of partner you are looking for. So, specify the qualities that you are looking for in your mate. Don't be unnecessarily restrictive in your choices. Make multiple selections within a category, if need be.
