I am a non-member. Can I contact a member?

As a non-member you can only search for profile of members registered on our site. You ca also express interest in profile you liked and send inbuilt message. But to contact them you have to become a member.

How do I contact another member?

There are three levels of contacting a member – Expressing Interest, Send inbuilt messages and Writing personalized messages (for Premium Members). To contact members, you need to be logged in. Click here to login.
How to Express Interest:

• This is a FREE feature available to all members.
• If you like any profile, then check that profile and click 'Express Interest' button.
• An email will be sent to that member regarding your interest.

How to send inbuilt messages:

• Express Interest in the member's profile.
• You will be shown a list of messages, select the message you want to send and click the button send.

How to write personalized messages:

• You have to become a paid member to write personalised messages.
• After expressing interest in the profile you will be shown the contact statistic page.
• On that page you will be shown a textarea where you can send any message you want.

Likewise, when other members like your matrimonial profile they can express interest and write to you using similar procedure.

What is Express Interest?

Express Interest is an exclusive feature that enables you to send automated messages to members absolutely FREE. This feature indicates that you like his/her profile. You can send inbuilt messages framed by us for FREE.

Is there a limit on the number of Express Interest messages I can send in a day?

You can send unlimited 'Express Interest' messages to anyone you choose. You can accept any number of 'Express Interest' messages sent to you by other members.

How do I initiate further contact with a member who has accepted me/whom I have accepted?

You don't have to initiate contact again with that member as you have or he/she has accepted contact. You can send reminder to the other person.

How do I get the full contact details of the person I contacted?

Once your interest is accepted by the person you contacted, you can send personalised messages, get his/her contact details.

What is match alert?

Match Alert is a indiavivah.com service that sends you profiles that match yours, helping make your dream search a little easier. In Match Alert, we send two types of matches. First, we send those profiles, which matches exactly with what you have specified in the Partner's Profile, and then we also send matches which are based on your profile. In this we take care of age, height, caste and marital status. It is advisable to fill in your Partner's Profile very carefully if you do not want too few, or irrelevant matches to reach you.

How do I get in touch with members of my interest?

• Login using your "VivahId/EmailId" and "Password" (How do I login?)
• To search for profiles, use the "Navigation Menu" on left side and Click search of your option and enter your preferences.
• In the search results page, you can click on the "Express Interest" link provided.
• Clicking on the "Express Interest" link will open a new page. Select any one of the inbuilt Express Interest messages and Click on the "Send" button to send an inbuilt message to the member, expressing your interest.

How will I know if a member has accepted/declined my interest?

You will be notified via email if the member accepts your interest. You can also login to your account and select the "Contacts Sent" option then Click "Accepted" tab to view accepted interest and Click "Declined" tab to view declined interests.

Will my contact information be revealed to the member I have expressed my interest in?

No. Only an inbuilt message expressing your interest will be sent to the member without revealing your contact information.

How do I send personalized messages to the member who has accepted my interest?

You have to become paid member of indiavivah.com. After being a paid member in your "Message Received" section you will see the accepted message of that member. Against that message you will see the "Read & Reply" link, click on the link and type your Personalised Message and send it.

Can I "Express Interest" in a member more than once?

Yes, you can send "Express Interest" messages to a member until they "Decline" your interest. You can send him/her the Reminder Message.

How do I accept/decline a member's interest?

You will receive an E-mail from indiavivah.com intimating you of a member's interest. Under the section "Contacts Received" you will see the message of interest.
If you are a free member:

• To accept the member's interest, Click on the "ACCEPT" link.
• If you are not interested Click on the "DECLINE" link.

If you are a paid member:

• To accept the member's interest, Click on the "ACCEPT" link and send Personalised Message.
• If you are not interested Click on the "DECLINE" link .

Being a free member if I want to contact a paid member, then can I get contact details of that member.

Yes you can get the details in viewprofile page for that profile, but only if that member has accepted your interest. As there is no paid membership in indiavivah.com you can express interset in theprofile you like. Once your interest is accepted by that profile member, you can send personalised messages, get his/her contact details.

Can I "Decline" a member's interest that I have already accepted?

Yes, you can "Decline" a member's interest, which you have accepted earlier.

Is it possible to accept a declined interest?

Yes, it is possible to accept a declined interest. After login to your account
(Click here to login), Go to "My Vivah Account" page and click on the "Contacts Received" tab. Under that section, click on the 'Declined' tab. Get the profile you want to "Accept" and Click on the "Accept" link, or follow the same procedure by clicking "Contacts Received" link from left Navigation Menu.

How can I view all the Express Interests I have made?

You could view all the Express Interest messages by clicking on the "Contacts Received" or "Contacts Sent" on the "My Contacts" page on left Navigation Menu. You can also view count of your "Contacts Received" or "Contacts Sent" on "My Vivah account Page" under the tabs "Contacts Received" or "Contacts Sent".

Can I Express Interest in multiple members at a time?

Yes, you can. Check multiple Ids and click "Express Interest" button. You could conveniently send a message to multiple interests at the same time by checking them and sending an inbuilt message.

How do I know if a member has sent me any message?

We forward all messages from other members to your personal email address. In addition, the message is also stored in your "Messages Recieved" section on our site.
To check if you have any messages, as you Login (How do I login?), Click on "My Messages" section on left Navigation Menu.
Under the section "Messages Recieved", all messages will be displayed and your Unread Messages will be displayed in bold.

How do I delete a message that I received?

Just click the cross button against the message and that message will be deleted.

I want to contact a member that has declined me. Can the customer support team of indiavivah.com help me contact this person?

Although the Customer Relations team of indiavivah.com is there to facilitate matrimony between its members, our policy does not allow it to directly contact a member on someone else's behalf. If you are declined by any member, the only other way for you to contact this member is if the member re-accepts you again.

For how long will my messages be stored on indiavivah.com Matrimonials?

Your Messages will be stored in your account untill you delete them.

I found a really good profile on indiavivah.com Matrimonials. Can the Customer Support Team of indiavivah.com help me contact this member?

You can contact our admin directly for that or You can express interest in that member's profile. If that member accepts you, you can go ahead with the rest of the procedure.
